Hands down the best veterinary hospital around. The doctors and staff know my dogs by name and are always excited to see them. Any care or recommendations I’ve received have been to benefit my dogs, not motivated by sales.
We’ve had nothing but amazing experiences here! I took my pups to another vet clinic in town when I first moved here, and I hated it! I was just about ready to drive all the way back to Stillwater for vet appointments, then I found this place! The vet we were able to get in with actually went to school at the same time as me at OSU, and our pups would play together at the dog park. It couldn’t have made me happier to see a familiar face and to have a vet I could trust in my own community! They just squeezed one of my pups in for an emergency appointment, and I am so so thankful for their customer service! Would recommend this vet clinic and any one of their amazing vets to anyone!
I have been coming here since I moved to MWC in 2006. I absolutely love Dr. T and Dr. Troy! They each take their time with me and never rush. The wait time on the phone is sometimes long but they are a busy practice. I can’t remember the vets name that took care of Yoshetta when I had to let her go, but he was also great. The receptionist have always been kind but I have to give a special thanks to Peggy. When Yoshetta passed she was there with me giving me a hug and when I came back to pick up her ashes she did the same. I absolutely love and adore this special lady! Thank you for always taking care of my kids.
We have taken our dogs and cats here for 32 years. Everyone here loves animals and treats them just as they are – our family members! We have especially known Drs. Acree and Troy all this time. They have provided compassionate, caring, and excellent medical treatment and have supported us in those tough times when our fur babies were nearing the end and we didn’t want them to suffer. In fact, staff members have cried with us. As long as we have pets and live in eastern Oklahoma County, MVH will always be our pets’ medical home. Thanks to everyone there for all you do for our pets and for us! You da best!!
Our boy got into a scuffle at the dog park, and ended up with what turned out to be a nasty blood blister. We were impressed with the attitude of the techs. From watching them interact with patients and worried owners, it was clear they care. Prices seemed reasonable, not dirt cheap but cheap compared to the quality of care. Hopefully we won’t have to go back, but if w do I know our boy is in good hands.
We LOVE the doctors and staff at Midwest Veterinary Hospital!! For nearly 30 years, all of our pets have been treated and boarded here. We have interacted with all of the doctors, through different pet years, and they have always been compassionate and professional. We, currently, see a new doctor on staff – Dr. Jared Nichols – and he has fought hard to keep our dear pup alive, who is undergoing treatment for renal failure. The front office ladies are THE BEST and Behavior Specialist, Trish, really knows her patients’ personalities and has offered great emotional support and provided many helpful strategies. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice!!
I could just not imagine going anywhere else. The staff is amazing with all my fur babies. They always truly listen to my concerns and do the best they possibly can to get my cats and dogs feeling better again. I have always felt they went above and beyond to provide exceptional care to my animals. Dr. Troy is my normal vet, but I have seen all of them over the last 23 years. They all have their own style, but all do an excellent job providing care for my animals.
